So to give you an example: If a car is accelerating 50 miles per hour and it stays that way for 2 hours than it will have gone 100 miles. A steady line on a distance time graph is known as constant speed. A horizontal line on the graph indicate the object has stopped completely.The steeper the angle of a curve, the faster the speed.
